Undergraduate Program

Art & Science

Academics Of Art & Science

Graduates of the program may work as art & science artists, art entrepreneurs or creators of their own projects and startups in the field of art & science, museum or independent curators, museum designers, graphic designers and 3D modelers at hi-tech companies, science illustrators, and artists who work with hi-tech innovations for the enterprise industrial cluster. Experts with a Master’s degree might also seek a PhD in art and science.

The Art & Science program is for students who want to break down barriers between disciplines. It is designed to assist students who are already involved in the artwork and are looking for new methods to show their creative initiative abilities, which are required for working in science and engineering. Simultaneously, the program intends to show the creative potential of people with practical expertise in IT and computer science, robotics, photonics, or biotechnology who are looking for new methods to develop and communicate.

There are numerous specialties available in the program:

Technological Art is an interdisciplinary and practice-oriented major that explores the potential of a newfound aesthetic and biomechanical intelligence through sophisticated technology and ubiquitous computers.

Digital art is a quantitative subject. It quantifies and digitalizes the environment, converting it into byte-sized messages that cut through class and agency lines.

Bio art is an interdisciplinary curriculum that blurs the lines between art and modern biology by focusing on today’s philosophical, social, and environmental issues.
